PACT (Parents Advocating & Connecting Together)
Provides support and networking opportunities for parents and caregivers of those with ASD. Events are held monthly, with details on our calendar under the News & Events tab.
This program provides a much needed respite for parents and caregivers while providing recreation, and social activities for ASD individuals. (Coming Fall 2017!)
This program is designed specifically for the siblings of those with ASD, and provides monthly activities and support, as well as an outlet for them to share their experiences and challenges growing up with a sister or brother on the spectrum. (Coming Fall 2017!)
Camp Saint John
Our summer camp offers fun and fellowship for children and teens ages 4-18. Campers enjoy various activities, crafts and life lessons that build self-esteem and friendships. This inclusion-based program is designed for both ASD kids and their typically developing peers. Camp Saint John is named after John the Apostle, Patron Saint of Friendship, with the main purpose of providing a summer camp that promotes friendship, inclusion and acceptance.
Music Therapy Social Group
Music Therapist, Robin Parker, leads the group in musical activities designed to facilitate fun and encourage socialization. This program is fun for all ages and ability levels. Registration is available through our Calendar of Events page.
We have partnered with local church leaders, schools and youth programs to promote inclusion of our Special Needs Community. Inclusion programs engage people of all ages and abilities in academics, athletics, employment, and social events that encourage respect and appreciation for each other’s differences. We host various trainings/workshops throughout the year. Visit our online calendar for upcoming dates and details.
Pacing for Pieces
This 5K/Half Marathon event is our largest fundraiser of the year. After the race, the celebration continues with BANDWAGON, our all-day music festival at beautiful Boxwood Plantation. Join us as we raise awareness and funding for our local ASD Community.
In addition to our support and referral services, we provide various trainings and workshops that are free to the public. Dates and information can be found on our events calendar on our website.
