5K & Half Marathon

Join us for our 8th Annual Pacing 4 Pieces – A RACE 4 AUTISM! Benefiting All 4 Autism and the Autism Resource Center of the Pee Dee, this event brings together our community to celebrate those with autism and their families.

Autism is the heart and “sole” of this race. Pacing 4 Pieces was created to bring awareness of Autism Spectrum Disorder and increase local support and resources for our ASD Community.

Not a runner? Not a problem! Join us after the race for the ARMSTRONG WEALTH PIECE JAM. Come on down to the 100 Block of Dargan Street in Downtown Florence, and enjoy music, food & beverage vendors, and a Kid Zone with inflatables, games and more. Homer, from the Red Wolves, will be leading the Kid’s Dash, too! Don’t forget to pack your tailgating chairs! Admission is free and open to the public.

GENERAL INFO:

Half Marathon: 8:00 am (Cut off time- 3.5 hours)

Early Bird Half Marathon Registration Fee: $65 (through January 31st)

Half Marathon Registration Fee: $75 (February 1st – March 14th)

5K Run/Walk: 9:30 am

Early Bird 5K Registration Fee: $35 (through January 31st)

5K Registration Fee: $45 (February 1st – March 14th)

Race T-Shirts: Deadline for free race tee (with registration) is February 24, 2020!

Starting Location: Corner of Coit St./Cheves St. (5K) & Coit St./Evans St. (Half)

Early Packet Pickup: Friday, March 13th  (12 noon – 7 pm) (183 South Coit Street, Suite B, Florence)

Same Day Registration: Half (7:30 am) 5K (9:00 am) (183 South Coit Street, Suite B, Florence)

Finish Line: Corner of Evans St./Dargan St.

Ages: 5 and up (strollers/wheelchairs welcome for non-walkers and those under 5 years old)

ARMSTRONG WEALTH PEACE JAM AFTER PARTY INFO:

Location: 100 Block of Dargan Street, Florence
Time: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
Music & Entertainment: David Whatley with Black Tie DJ Services
Kids Area– inflatables, face painting, games & more (lawn area in front of PD Mental Health)
Food & Beverage Vending: Kona Ice, Freeman’s Bakery, “Fill My Cup” Coffee, Peanut Patch Boiled Peanuts, Mimosa/Michelada Bar, Pepsi Trailer & brunch items (parking lot area beside splash pad)
Awards: 11:00 am (parking lot area beside splash pad)
Kids Dash: 11:30 am (Mascot from RedWolves)
Sensory Area: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm (Florence Museum will provide a quiet spot for our anyone that needs a break from the PIECE JAM activities, noise, etc…)
Things to Know about the after party:
~ Event is free and open to public
~ All kid zone activities are free
~ Cash and credit cards accepted (no checks)
~ Tickets are $1/each for food and beverage items (prices range from $2 – $6)
~ Bring your tailgate chairs (no coolers allowed)
~ Rain or Shine! (Party in a Tent is providing covered areas)
